Connection to our True North

From a very young age, I was drawn to quiet spaces. Raised with horses, they taught me that true partnership demands vulnerability and letting go of the ego. "Failure and Loss" became other significant teachers, instilling humility and the importance of continuous personal growth. I cultivated the art of active listening, prioritizing understanding over personal agendas. I found joy in presence and the power of "teachability."

As a strong advocate for self-growth and exploration, I embraced meditation and studied under a Guru. This deepened my awareness of my inner dialogue, and I learned to regulate my sympathetic nervous system to access my inner calm. This became the foundation for my deep, intimate listening skills. I then spent several years studying the Intimate Psychology of Relationships and became a certified Relationship Coach.

My focus then shifted to trauma, exploring questions such as: What is trauma? How is it stored in the body? How do we release it? How do we find the "eye of the storm"? Can we pause during intense moments? How do we return to center when life veers off course?

I continue to study Trauma, the Brain, and the Nervous System, which has led to profound realizations about human preservation and connection. These realizations include:

* Understanding how trauma impacts our ability to connect with ourselves and others.

* Recognizing the importance of regulating the nervous system for emotional well-being and resilience.

* Appreciating the body's innate wisdom in processing and healing from traumatic experiences.

* Discovering effective strategies for fostering secure attachments and healthy relationships.

During times of strong emotions like anxiety, stress, worry, or fear, we activate trigger responses within our nervous system, sending our bodies into a state of dysregulation. Process healing enables us to neutralize the associated memories and beliefs. While the memories remain, they no longer carry a negative charge, allowing us to feel lighter, less reactive, and gain valuable insights.

My mission is to create a safe space for people to expand their curiosity, find their joy and connect with their authentic selves.
